Junior & Parent Open 2009 Results |
Many thanks to all the Junior and Parent / Guardian archers who attended the shoot, and also to non-shooting parents & family who came along to our club. We were again blessed with a fine sunny day, with dry conditions with a brisk headwind to keep things interesting!! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. We hope you will join us again next year, for the 7th GOA Junior and Parents Open. We will be setting a new date to try to avoid school exam commitments, any suggestions by email please? Our thanks are expressed to the Lady Paramount, Rattan Bhandal, the Judge, Maggie Woolf, as well as all the GOA members who helped to set up the field, clear away the targets at the end and compile all the scoring results. Short Metric League 2009 |

The short metric league for 2009 start June 28th at Harrow quickly followed by the GOA hosted match on the 5th July. For further dates have a look at the tournament diary. The league is open to archers of all abilities and has prizes for overall highest scores as well as handicap adjusted scores, so if you are interested in taking part then please get in touch with me (Seth Morris). You will need a outdoor handicap (and "shooting style" does not count!), all you need to do is shoot three scored rounds and submit them to the records officer.
